 About The Sunrise

The Sunrise We Have Not Heard

The Sunrise album We Have Not Heard

Acoustic and electric original band The Sunrise breaks the mold of cookie-cutter popular music with engaging, inspirational, and often convicting songs – meant for true music fans – while emphasizing the message of Jesus Christ.

The recent album release by The Sunrise, titled “We Have Not Heard,” features guitar legend Phil Keaggy and drummer Joe Vitale (Crosby Stills Nash Young, Joe Walsh).

CCM Magazine gives the album, “We Have Not Heard,” four stars and says that it, “exudes musical and spiritual authenticity that shouldn’t be ignored.” Uplifting Entertainment (UPTV.com) notes, “The Sunrise is certainly in a class of its own,” and calls the album, “a title we are truly excited about.”

These young men are heroes. If only we gave the positive as much attention as we give the negative…

Two young men are heroes in Lancaster, Pennsylvania after they helped rescue an abducted 5 year old girl, Jocelyn Rojas.

Temar Boggs and a friend were helping to search for the girl when they spotted her in a car. They pursued the car on their bikes, and the girl was let out.

Watch the story here:

Let’s give these young heroes the media attention they deserve for this selfless act of kindness.

“You don’t have to be a biblethumper to be against this.”

ImageThe title of this post comes from a not-so-graceful commenter on a Washington Examiner article about late-term abortions. The article addresses Live Action’s video and audio investigations at late-term abortion clinics in their “Inhuman” campaign.

The video can be watched, and the article titled “Doctor tells woman 27-weeks pregnant to have abortion on a ‘toilet'” can be read here: http://bit.ly/12zKZXu

Another commenter put it very well when she wrote, “In my life, I’ve seen, read, heard cruel situations, but this is one of the worst, if not the worst. If the woman did this to a puppy, she would be reported to humane societies. Where have we got to in this world. God have mercy on America.”

Please pray for our country.

Please pray that all women who are facing this difficult decision will choose life for their children.

Please pray that the medical personnel who are performing these tragic acts will have a change of heart.
