Are you washing your hair with products intended to draw you into the worship of false gods, and idolatrous practices?

The intertwining of Eastern Mysticism with Western Culture – Why Christians should be concerned about it, PART 2.

The following photograph was in a brochure, available at no cost, from a local shopping mall store selling skin and hair care products:

Let’s define some of the terms that are employed in the photo:

VedasAbout.com says, “The Vedas are considered the earliest literary record of Indo-Aryan civilization, and the most sacred books of India. They are the original scriptures of Hindu teachings… “Veda” means wisdom, knowledge, or vision, and it manifests the language of the gods in human speech. The laws of the Vedas regulate the social, legal, domestic and religious customs of the Hindus to the present day.”

ChakraMindBodyGreen.com says, “The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through.”

Kundalini – Kundaliniyoga.org says, “Kundalini is the energy of our soul. Kundalini is imagined as a coiled serpent lying asleep at the base of our spine.”

This picture from the website of the company who creates these products shows a touch on the third eye chakra:

This is how a guru will transfer “energy” during a kundalini awakening. This is called shaktipat. “Shaktipat is the transfer of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student in order to awaken the kundalini.”

Here is another photo of a guru giving a shaktipat initiation to awaken the kundalini energy:

Here is more information on a kundalini awakening from the Spiritual Research Center’s website:

“The Kundalini is the spiritual energy and it generally lies dormant, coiled at the base of the Sushumnanadi for an average person. Through spiritual practice it begins to rise from the base of the spine through the Sushumnanadi right till the top of the head. While it does so, the Kundalini awakens each of the chakras along the way.”

“Kundalini awakening happens through spiritual practice or spiritual transfer of energy.”

“Some people try to force awakening of the Kundalini by efforts through the Path of Deliberate Rigour. However, this can lead to deleterious effects. Some can even become insane from it.”

The Spiritual Research Center’s website also says, “Whatever the spiritual path, when there is spiritual growth the Kundalini rises.”

The Bible tells us the truth about our spiritual position, and about obtaining salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

This is made known to us in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This has nothing to do with any type of chakra energy, kundalini force or awakening.

John 14:6 restates the point, and makes it very clear, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Any spiritual practice outside of what God says is good in The Bible is deception, and will result in spiritual confusion.

The information from the company also attempts to sell a product that is meant to enhance a meditative practice as is illustrated in the following picture:

Chakras51

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:7: “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.” This is the exact opposite of what this product is advocating.

These products are attempting to sell to us – and indoctrinate us – with the religious tenets of Hinduism, a spiritual practice that God warns Christians about in the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:3: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Be vigilant, Christians!
