An AMERICAN Pastor is in an IRANIAN prison. Could you be the next person imprisoned for your faith?

This sounds like the plot line of the next Hollywood movie blockbuster, but sadly it is not.

Today, as we sit here, American Pastor Saeed Abedini sits in an Iranian prison cell. His crime? Being of the Christian faith and spreading the Gospel.

From the ACLJ website, www.aclj.org:

“Iran’s radical Islamic regime has sentenced American Pastor Saeed Abedini to eight years’ imprisonment in one of Iran’s most brutal and deadly prisons – simply because of his Christian faith.”

“This action violates Iran’s own constitution and violates multiple international human rights treaties that Iran has voluntarily and willingly signed.”

“At the ACLJ, we are launching an international campaign asking the United Nations, European Union, and Council of Europe to mobilize their resources to require Iran to honor its treaties and its constitution.”

Please consider signing this petition and adding your name to the list of people who respect human rights and the right of faith. The petition currently has over 500,000 signatures, help the ACLJ get to 600,000 and more.
